If you’re looking for a way to get back to Firelink Shrine in Warcraft 3, you’ve probably wondered how to do it. The route begins at the bonfire. From here, head to the gate of the Fire Keeper. He will guide you to the Firelink Shrine.
Quelaag’s Domain
When you are stuck in Blighttown and want to return to the realm of the Dark Souls, there are two main ways to do so. You can either fight the lava-spitting spider lady, or you can go to Quelaag’s Domain and ring the second Bell of Awakening.
First, head to Quelaag’s Domain. It is located on an island that’s surrounded by spikey trees. You can also go back to Blighttown and find the Bonfire of Quelaag, where you can use the poison-healing herbs to heal yourself.
The Quelaag is a difficult boss to fight and has multiple attacks that are hard to anticipate. When you are distracted, she will swap aggro and you’ll need a fire-resistant shield. The Dark Knight Shield is an excellent choice here as it provides excellent protection.
The best way to get out of Blighttown is to find the waterwheel building and follow it. From here, you can head to the New Londo Ruins and Firelink Shrine. You can also use a Cragspider to get down from ledges.
Infested Barbarians
The first step is to lure the Infested Barbarians back to the entrance. During this time, use a Spider Shield to protect yourself from damage from toxic items. Once you’ve managed to lure them back, you can kill them. They are massive, but they’re easily killed with normal humanoid strategies.
You can also backtrack to the Firelink Shrine via the Blighttown elevator. The first route is through the Depths, and the second route is through the Valley of the Drakes. After you’ve completed the Valley, you can continue to Blighttown by killing the Infested Barbarians in the area.
If you’ve gotten to this point, you can invoke Maneater Mildred to get additional souls. You can also summon her at the fog gate to get to her shrine. This is the most effective way to return to your shrine from Blighttown.
The next part of this quest is a long journey. First, you need to find a place to kill the Infested Barbarians. This is a dangerous area, so be sure to stay on the right path. Then, proceed to the Demon Ruins to obtain the Gold-Hemmed Black Set. Finally, you’ll encounter the Ceaseless Discharge boss.
After picking up the items, you can move on to the Firelink Shrine. Once there, you’ll need to get the Master Key, which can be found in a chest. Once you have it, you’ll be able to access the New Londo Ruins.

It will help you to get back to Blighttown with full health.
The second visit to Firelink Shrine is more difficult. It requires more skill and patience. It is important to get a Rusted Iron Ring because it will allow you to move faster through the mud. This ring will also grant access to the Painted World of Ariamis, which contains a heftier version of the Asylum Demon.
Once you get the Rusted Iron Ring, you can get back to the shrine by talking to Quelaag’s Sister. She will also help you reinforce your Estus Flask with your Fire Keeper Soul. This is very important for completing the quest.

Another way to get back to the Firelink Shrine is to kill the Infested Barbarian boss. These creatures are huge, but can be backstabbed. Infested Barbarians are also very dangerous, so you’ll want to take them out as soon as you can.
Alternatively, you can use the Master Key to access the New Londo Ruins. Afterwards, you can give the Lordvessel to the Darkstalker Kaathe. This will allow you to join the Darkwraith Covenant. This quest is not particularly difficult, but it’ll take some time.
